Mstar recently completed a significant upgrade to its telephone network. The changes have already drastically improved the quality of Mstar’s telephone service. Several new features are available including a Web Call Manager, a Do Not Disturb feature and the ability to send voicemail to an e-mail address. Please see the Mstar Customer Handbook to find out how to use these features and take advantage of all that your Mstar telephone service has to offer.

Because VoIP technology makes it difficult to identify who to bill when a collect call is received, Mstar’s back-end VoIP provider does not allow users to receive collect calls. Callers will hear a message that the user does not accept collect calls.

To protect our customers from fraudulent and excessive charges, users also cannot access premium-rate telephone numbers* (such as 900 or 976 numbers).

Mstar customers WILL, however, be able to make collect calls from their Mstar phone to a non-Mstar customer.
